Chasing The Sun
The sun is shy with me at this time of the year.
So as soon as I noticed its presence, I drew open the curtains and raised the blinds to let a sliver of sunlight rest upon my face.
The sudden glow touched my faded skin and highlighted the otherwise invisible dust floating in the air around me.
But I didn't care.
I sat in the kiss of warmth until the luminous light decided our time was up.
Watercolor, 8”x 10”, framed and ready to hang.
