New Beginnings
I wasn't paying attention.
I had my head down.
Buried in my scarf.
Trying to get through another cold day.
But then I saw a tiny daffodil out of the corner of my eye.
They are symbols of hope.
Renewal.
Optimism.
It might still be cold outside.
And I might still be learning hard lessons from the last season.
But this daffodil promises that warmer days are ahead.
Proving that no darkness lasts forever.
